ASSIGNMENT 3: Soundscapes

This was recorded in the early afternoon on a weekday when there were plenty of cars. I began recording on one side of the intersection and crossed the crosswalk to the other side. I continued under a freeway bridge, left the iPhone under the bridge, and let it continue to record. I used the dissolve at the beginning and end of almost every clip. In Premiere, I used the denoise effect as well as the stereo expander. Using two devices was fun, but I’m not sure if it made that much of a difference. However, there were some sounds that the iPhone picked up better than the DSLR.
